Paranormal Activity or ESP has always fascinated me and it’s been the driving force to understand it. Numerous evidence has been recorded throughout history. Many influential people have experienced visions and prophecies. Nostradamus was famous for this. Abraham Lincoln was yet another to foresee his own death in a dream. About the author 

I have lived in a number of places and have fond memories from the South Coast and the Blue Mountains.  I now reside in the beautiful area of Noosa, on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. 

I have had a number of Poems published in America.  I have been awarded a Bronze Medallion and a Silver Bowl Award for my achievement in poetry.  Whilst working on poetry, I have also been busy working on this book: “The Psychic Child.”  

Psychic Phenomena has always interested me, ever since I was a young child.  There is documented evidence, where many people from all walks of life, have experienced these strange powers.  

Through my contact with this particular family and others involved, it has inspired my study into this topic. I found Psychic Phenomena fascinating and quite unbelievable, yet I can confirm it did happen the way it was told. This in-depth study about the people referred to in this book, appears to show their psychic abilities have been inherited.

Introduction 

This book is based on a true story. It deals with supernatural inheritance or psychic powers passed on to each successive generation. The events described actually happened and are told by the people involved. Encounters with dark forces, supernatural protection, and even futuristic dreams have occurred, which, even now, seem so bizarre that one could only imagine them to be science fiction. 

Many people have claimed to be endowed with the gift of what has been called the ‘third eye’ or ‘second sight’ or a ‘sixth sense’. It has been claimed that clairvoyants are able to transcend the normal channels of their senses and catch a glimpse of the future. 

There are many ways that psychic powers work, for instance through dreams, visions, mediums, or even an aroma associated with a particular event. They are able to move objects through telekinesis, or communicate through telepathy (to read minds and convey thoughts), precognition (perceiving an event before it happens) and retro-cognition (the ability to see past events).

Astral travel, or out-of-body experience as many call it, is yet another phenomenon to be experienced by those psychics. As described in Mysteries of the Unknown (Time-Life Books, 1988,) the astral body’s power of perception, are acutely sharp once departed from the physical body and it is possible to see oneself in both the spiritual and physical form.  For example, on March 16, 1589, Paolo, the fourteen-year-old son of Prince Fabrizio Massimo in the Palace of Rome, claimed he had returned from the dead, that he had been in heaven, and had met his mother who had died eight years earlier, and his recently departed sister. He informed his priest, who blessed him and told him to ‘go in peace.’

Shamans have communicated with their Gods. Saints have had visions, which has been recorded in past history. Many Oracles have foretold the death of kings. Many ordinary people have slipped into the other realm, and revealed future events. One such person was Abraham Lincoln who dreamt his own death, recorded in Mysteries of the Unknown - Psychic Powers (Time-Life Books, 1987).     Ernest Hemmingway was yet another, to describe his own near death experience in his novel A Farewell to Arms” (1929). 

The pineal gland is considered by many to be the third eye. It emits an aura that encompasses the pituitary gland; together these combined forces are allegedly responsible for true spiritual illumination leading to out of body experience.   Scientific study of Kirlian photography has demonstrated the halos aura, or as Scientists prefer to call it: 'corona discharge imaging,' where living things emit an energy force, which shows up as an aura surrounding the living thing in question.. For example the human body where a limb has been lost will still show an aura in shape and colour of the original lost limb under a Kirlian photography Mysteries of the Unknown - Psychic Powers (Time-Life Books, 1987). 

Sigmund Freud believed that psychic research was legitimate.  The renowned anthropologist Margaret Mead was a strong proponent of psychic research.  However, Albert Einstein considered telepathy and psychic phenomena unlikely, because it defied the laws of physics as pointed in Mysteries of the Unknown - Psychic Powers (Time-Life Books, 1987). 

One could ask why only a select few have these special gifts bestowed upon them. What sort of gifts are they? Do they include the power of intuition, or foresight through visions or even futuristic dreams? Are any other sensory organs enhanced in these individuals and is the answer to be found in the gift itself? Does this psychic power develop and grow with the individual over the course of their lifespan? What perception does the individual hold of his or her psychic ability? 

This book explores some incidents that happened to a family over the course of many years. It highlights the fact that psychic powers can occur in mysterious ways and through many of our natural senses. It is through innate but special qualities an individual may possess, which enable that individual to perceive events before they happen. Do they possibly view past events for a specific reason? Do they detect audible sounds or even aromas surrounding an important incident in their own life or that of someone close to them?  Is the physical world what we see and think it is, or to use a metaphor, is it like a curtain that can be sometime pushed aside and passed through so that we can venture into time and space of a different reality? 

Fact or fantasy was the pre-eminent question people were asking about a quiet little girl who revealed true but unbelievable events, recalled from her dreams. These strange and unexplained episodes were eventually confirmed by those involved.

How could an ordinary child predict potential events with such accuracy, both in the immediate and the distant future? Why did these futuristic dreams only happen to her and her family? Was she really gifted with a special power that had been handed down to each generation, which unlocked the key of present and future events? Was it possible that she was transported in time and space, to see these events more clearly as they happened? Were these events intended by some divine influence to help others, so that the future could be managed and changed for the better? Was it a sign of deliverance for the pure of mind, or was there another unexplained force behind this phenomenon?
